Across the road from the main complex, near to the statue of St. Gobnat, is St. Gobnat’s well. It has a stone lined opening that looks very old. I don’t often taste the water at wells, but here the water is very nice.
As with all the monuments here there are crosses scratched into the surrounding stones.
The well is just in front of St. Gobnat’s House, a circular stone built structure with a great door formed from large upright slabs. These too are scratched with crosses.
