High above the Delvin River these four mounds mirror those at Fourknocks (County Meath) on the opposite side. These two major groups combin to make the Delvin valley a very special place indeed.

The mounds seem to be in two pairs with the best pair being the southern ones. These offer spectacular views to the coast near to Bremore (County Dublin) and south towards Lambay, which almost seems to sit on the near horizon created by the edge of this hill!

None of these mounds exhibit any signs of kerbs, but neither did the tombs at Fourknocks. Their lofty position also points to them being passage tombs.

400m south on the very highest point of the hill there is a hillfort, which incorporates another passage tomb.
