I was enchanted by these stones, but alignments (especially of three) always affect me. As is quite typical they step down in size with the largest being about 1.1 m tall and the smallest about 70 cm. The larger stone has started to lean.
There is a perfect alignment with the top of nearby Slievecoiltia (Sliabh Coltair) Mountain. The field has a pretty viscious barbed wire fence behind its hedgerow so be careful.

On my first visit here I couldn't see a way into the field and I thought the stones looked quite small seem from the road through the hedge. I was wrong!
The tallest stone is nearly 2m tall and the lowest is over 1m. The alignment is roughly northeast-southwest with the taller stone at the southern end. All three stones are granite with flecks of quartz. This is one of the finest stone rows I've stood next to. I suppose my surprise at the size of the tallest stone may have something to do with that, but I don't think it's a large factor. This really is a great monument and should be signposted etc.

From New Ross take the R733 south ensuring that you do not continue onto the R734. Later, when the road takes a sharp right take the first right. Follow the road until just after the second left hand turn . The stone row is in the field to the right 50m after this bend.
