While we were so close we probably should have made the effort to go right up to this cashel, but the walking was rough and we wanted to move on to the final tomb in the townland.
The walls look quite impressive and could be as high as 3-4m. The views out over the Atlantic, the Arran Islands and down to the Cliffs of Moher are fantastic from here. For anyone interested in cashels this would be one to put on your list.
