I think someone was being optimistic in describing this as a tomb. The sad pile of rocks has been used to pile cattle fodder against and there was a steaming dung heap right next to it when I visited.
Its original form is impossible to tell.

It's been a long time since I saw this site from the gate and decided it wasn't worth the effort of walking to it. However, I'm a little more interested in portal tombs these days and, as the gate was open and the field empty, I went to take a proper look.
It is very ruined. The orthostats have collapsed, but all the stones seem to be there. It is rather difficult to tell, because the remains are very overgrown. The capstone appears to be quite large and the one visible portal stone would have stood about 2m high, making this quite an impressive monument in its day.
The site is now fenced off from the field which looks as if it is being turned over to crop rather than livestock.
