Visit Notes

Whilst reading up on Carrowkeel I'd often read about and seen pictures of this cist, but due to appalling visibility each time I've been here, and also due to not remembering which [glos:cairn[ it was next to, I'd not seen it until now.

It's pretty big. Over 2m long and 1.5m wide and it was no surprise to find that its long axis points straight at Maeve's Cairn (County Sligo)!

To find it, if you are walking up the hill from the north it is about 30m to the left of cairn K.
