Built into a wall in the grounds of a convent (with a very fine castle as part of its structure) is this carved head. More specifically it is a mouth-puller. Quite grotesque one actually but nicely carved.

Above it, half way up the castle wall, is another carved head. This is very weathered, but seems to have a wonderfully angry face.
