This is one massive mound and would have been quite a defensive position. There is still quite a lot of earthworks around its base.

Sunday, 9th December 2001

This is a strong stone with a vivid presence. It stand in the center of a field and is about 1.5m tall and about 70cm x 70cm in plan.

The farmer seems to get worryingly close to this stone with his tractor.
