Visit Notes

Sunday, 9th December 2001

This island just shouts to be sacred, sitting alone in the lake. Its attraction is magical. I spent a long time just staring at this place, dumbstruck with its presence.

There is a holy well to the south that is accesed by a church owned path from the road south of Buncarrick cemetery. I was amazed that this is now suttounded by a golf course!! No I wasn't ... money first eh!?
