Just to the north of the church ruins, nestled in amongst the modern graves is a rather unusual cross.
On each side of the shaft there is a figure carved in heavy false relief. It really is impossible to say who the represent.
The curious feature is the cross head itself. Two of the perforations through the wheel are round and two are square. A real head-scratcher this one!
