This is a standing slab more than a standing stone. It's big ... very big. Nearly 4m tall and 1.5m across. It stands in the centre of a field very close to the road, leaning slightly.
There's not a lot else to be said about it really. There is too much habitation around it to put it in any context.

From Tullamore take the N80 southeast for 3.5km. There is a church on the left. Take the road on the right. Follow this for 2.5km where you will reach a t-junction. The stone is in the field to the right - you can't really miss it.
