Visit Notes

Sunday, 26th October 2003

This holy well has been very much modernised. It is obviously still used as a modern altar with a tarpaulin frame stands on the bank above it. A gate leads to some steps behind the altar and then a further set of steps lead 2m down to the well itself.

The water looked very oily and none too enticing.
