This is the highest of three mounds arranged in a line down the valley side. Unfortunately, all that can be seen are the tops of a couple of stones poking out of the heather. The mound still covers the sides of the tomb and the gallery is full of debris and peat - this has been open for a long time.

Have I mentioned the views today? Here you are still in sight of Lough Derg and it's beautiful to see, shimmering over the nearest ridge and making the distant mountains appear to float in the air, because the lake looks just like the sky above due to its reflection in the water. Quite a special effect!
