Visit Notes

Sunday, 14th September 2003

Now I know that there is an exotic plant nursery in Skull. Having a passion for carnivorous plants I thought it would be too expensive for me to check the garden centre out, so I just looked at the stone and carried on.

This 1.7m tall, square sectioned stone stands alongside the driveway to the nursery and is very easy to find. Just follow the sign to The Standing Stone Gallery and Exotic Plant Centre.

The map shows that the stone is just 100m from the sea, but trees and buildings stop you being able to appreciate this view, which with the beaty of this coast should be really good.
