I have decided that for my next book I want to look at County Waterford, a county that is almost forgotten megalithically due to being next to the very megalithic Cork. The county is one of the few to realise how good its monuments are, but few people outside of the county are aware of it. Waterford is one of the few with a signposted Dolmen Trail!
On a beautiful, hot Summer's day I managed to revisit a few of my favourite Waterford sites and to see a few new ones. The sad thing was that I wasn't really in good enough humour to enjoy the journey very much. Not to worry. I'll be spending a lot more time down there, so I'm sure that I'll make up for that.
