Waterford Once More

We had planned a weekend camping in Waterford, but the weather forecast was pretty dire, so we decided to just make it a day trip. This still allowed us to see some of the finest that the county has to offer.

We stopped at Leac na Scail (County Kilkenny) on the way down. I left my 1m stick there. Oh well, I'll have to make another one. Kilmogue was a good start to the day and set the scene for some lovely tombs - something Waterford has a glut of. Sites like Knockeen (County Waterford), Matthewstown (County Waterford) and Harristown (County Waterford) should rank amongst Ireland's major attractions. However, there is a lot more that the county has to offer, which is why I've decided that my next book will actually be Monu-Mental About Prehistoric Waterford.
